Alli Diet Pills

What is the Alli Diet Pill?

The first question most people ask is “What is the alli diet pill?” Basically, it’s a lower strength version of Orlistat or Xenical (a prescription only drug).  This is not a cure for being overweight - for the diet to work, the pills must be taken taken in conjunction with a low fat, calorie controlled diet (more info on this here). The manufacturers also recommend that, whilst on the diet, you take a multi-vitamin as Alli can stop your body absorbing fat soluble vitamins to some extent (vitamins A, D, E, K and beta-carotene).

Taking the alli diet pills in conjunction with following the suggestions in the alli diet plan book may work at getting some weight off. However, taking these drugs on a long term basis is certainly not recommended even by the company that pushes this product.

alli isn’t just another weight loss product - alli is a pill that combines an eating plan designed to mazimise your weight loss. You will need to commit to a change in your eating habits for this programme to be most effective.

We admit; alli is not the right option for everyone, but alli is an option. If you are prepared to work hard and and stick to the plan it could help increase your weight loss by 50% i.e if you are able to lose 10 pounds by following a simple diet, then alli could help you lose 15 pounds.

Government statistics show that there has been a steady increase in the number of obese people around the world. Current figures from the OECD fact book indicate that, as of 2005, 23% of the UK population are obese. An entire industry has sprung up around giving overweight people a range of weight loss tips and products so it’s understandable that you may be confused. The bottome line is: due to a lack of exercise and healthy eating habits the worlds population is getting heavier.

Although some consumer reports have stated that, in follow-up trials, users have started to regain weight after they stopped taking the drug this mainly is mainly because of falling back into their old, bad eating habits. More on this here…
